We are so excited to be outside on the patio at Elliott Bay Brewery of Burien on Sunday, September 14th, from 11am - 1:30 pm, crafting fun book covers of all kinds, in partnership with the Seattle Book Club! You bring your favorite book (or pick one from Seattle Book Club's curated collection). Feel free to decorate a blank journal or even your Kindle and we'll provide a rainbow of colored gems and supplies so that you can fancify your own unique copy! Want to win a great raffle prize? Bring a book to donate, and you will be entered to win goodies from Seattle Book Club! The event will include: · Step-by-step crafting instruction by founders Andra and Jennifer on how to create your own custom-designed book cover, using small craft gems. We will have all the tools and plenty of colors to choose from, to help you create stunning pieces. · Sam from Seattle Book Club will be there with her book cart of fresh selections to decorate or read during our event and will host an optional book discussion as well. We will have time to chat while crafting, or perhaps you want to take some time to read on the patio - up to you! · 1 cocktail + 1 beer/wine will be included in your ticket price, to enjoy while crafting. NA cocktails will be available as well. Elliott Bay Brewing's offerings will include: house margarita, mojito and a bay breeze (vodka, cranberry, and pineapple juice), a seasonal elderflower spritz, as well as red and white wines, prosecco and of course, delicious handcrafted beers. · Food will be available for purchase, for any hungry crafters. · Ample inside seating available (in the event of bad weather), or for post-craft reading time! · What you'll take home: Completed fancy book cover and a free book to take home from Seattle Book Club's curated book cart. To cancel or reschedule, please email us directly and we will be happy to work with you. We can easily reschedule you into any open upcoming class, or put your purchase towards a private party. In some cases we are able to offer a refund; however late cancellations can be very challenging for a small business like ours. We purchase supplies 2+ weeks in advance according to registration numbers. Thanks so much for your understanding!
